Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to the Revive Me application, an application owned and operated by Revive Me Tech
Establishment. It is intended to provide services for connecting certain compatible smart devices and
smartwatches, reading and analyzing heart rate data according to thresholds configured within the system,
and sending alerts to people selected by the user. It may also enable manual alerts and sharing the user’s
location when an alert is activated.

These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between the user and Revive Me regarding use of
the Application.

Downloading, registering for, or using any of the Application’s services constitutes acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

  • Application: the Revive Me Application and its associated services and features.
  • Establishment: Revive Me Tech Establishment.
  • User: any person who registers for, accesses, or uses the Application or its services.
  • Alert Group: a group of people created or joined by the user for the purpose of receiving alerts.
  • Compatible Device: any smartwatch or other electronic device supported by the Application according
  • to the available list of devices and technologies.
  • Alert: a notification generated automatically or manually in accordance with the Application’s features.

Acceptance of the Terms

By using the Application, the user acknowledges that they:

  • Has read and understood these Terms.
  • Agrees to comply with them.
  • Will comply with applicable laws.
  • Accepts responsibility for use of their account.
  • Understands the nature of the service and its technical limitations.
  • Understands that the Application is not an emergency service or medical device.

If the user does not agree to these Terms, they must not use the Application.

Registration and Account

Certain features may require the creation of an account. When registering, the user agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Update their information when necessary.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • Not allow others to use the account without authorization.
  • Notify the Establishment if unauthorized account use is suspected.

The user is responsible for activities carried out through their account unless it is established that the use
resulted from a cause beyond the user’s reasonable control.

Connecting Smartwatches and Devices

Depending on the devices supported from time to time, the Application allows certain smartwatches and
smart devices to be connected. The Establishment does not guarantee that the Application supports every
smartwatch or device available on the market. The list of compatible devices may change due to technical
updates, operating-system changes, or changes to manufacturers’ integration interfaces.

Heart Rate Data

The Application may read heart rate data provided by a compatible smartwatch or device. The system
processes and analyzes the data and compares it against predefined thresholds. When specified
thresholds are exceeded, an alert may be generated according to the service settings.

The user acknowledges that the data depends on the compatible device, data source, measurement
method, and connection quality, and that Revive Me does not control the accuracy of measurements
produced by an external device.

Nature of the Service and No Medical Services

Revive Me is not a medical device, diagnostic service, or medical treatment service. The Application does
not provide:

The analysis performed by the Application is intended to operate the alert feature based on the data and
thresholds configured in the system. The user must not rely on the Application as a substitute for a
physician, hospital, ambulance or emergency services, or any approved medical device.

  • Medical diagnosis.
  • Treatment.
  • Medication prescriptions.
  • Specialized medical assessment.
  • Medical consultation.
  • Any guarantee of the presence or absence of a medical condition.

Automatic Alerts

The Application may send an automatic alert when a condition configured in the system is met, including
when heart rate data exceeds the specified upper or lower threshold. An alert is a technical indication
based on the data available to the system and is not a medical judgment or diagnosis.

Manual Alerts

The Application may allow the user to send a manual alert to people added to an alert group. The user
must use this feature only for genuine and lawful purposes and must not use it to send false or misleading
alarms or for the purpose of harassment, intimidation, or harm to others.

Geolocation

When an automatic or manual alert is activated, the Application may send the user’s geographic location to
persons authorized to receive the alert in accordance with the alert-group features. This feature is not
intended to provide continuous tracking of the user. The user is responsible for ensuring that the necessary
location permissions are enabled.

High-Priority Alerts

The Application may support high-priority alerts in accordance with technologies and permissions provided
by device operating systems and approved platforms. Certain features may allow an alert to be issued
while the device is in silent or Do Not Disturb mode, where the necessary features and permissions are
available and enabled. This does not constitute an absolute guarantee that an alert will be delivered in all
circumstances.

No Guarantee of Alert Delivery

The user acknowledges that Revive Me depends on multiple technical systems and services, including the
user’s device, operating system, internet connection, telecommunications networks, notification services,
compatible smartwatch or device, device settings, permissions, and Application status. Accordingly, the
Establishment does not guarantee:

  • Delivery of every alert.
  • Delivery of an alert at a specific time.
  • Continuous operation of all features without interruption.
  • Operation with all devices and smartwatches.
  • Absence of technical errors or delays.
  • Delivery when internet or telecommunications services are unavailable.
  • Delivery when permissions or notifications are disabled.
  • Delivery where the device, system, or external services malfunction.

User Responsibility for Application Settings

The user is responsible for:

  • Enable notifications.
  • Enable location permissions when required.
  • Correctly connect a compatible device.
  • Maintain the device connection.
  • Ensure that the device is functioning correctly.
  • Verify the thresholds and settings selected by the user.
  • Add appropriate people to alert groups.
  • Update the Application and operating system when necessary.

Alert Groups

The user is responsible for managing their alert groups and must ensure that people added to a group are
the people they wish to receive alerts. The Establishment is not responsible for the user’s choice of
persons with whom alerts or location information are shared.

Emergency Response

Revive Me is a technical tool intended to assist in sending alerts and is not a substitute for emergency,
ambulance, civil defense, or other competent services. Where medical or emergency intervention is
required, the user or alert recipient must contact the relevant authority directly. Revive Me does not
guarantee that any person will reach the user or that field or medical assistance will be provided as a result
of an alert.

Failures and Interruptions

The Establishment works to maintain and develop the stability of the Application. However, electronic
services may experience failures, interruptions, errors, maintenance, or updates. Causes may include,
without limitation, server and network failures, internet outages, device problems, operating-system
updates, failures of smartwatches and external devices, notification-service failures, or other causes
beyond the Establishment’s reasonable control.

Subscriptions and Prices

The Application may offer certain services or features for fees or subscriptions. Prices and terms
applicable to each service will be displayed before purchase where paid services are available. The
Establishment may change prices for future services, provided that this does not affect amounts previously
paid except in accordance with the announced terms and applicable law.

Payment

Payments are processed through payment methods provided by the Application or approved distribution
and payment platforms, including Apple and Google, depending on the service and device. Payments are
also subject to the terms and policies of the relevant payment provider or platform.

Cancellation and Refunds

Users may cancel a subscription using the mechanism available within the Application or the platform
through which the subscription was purchased. Refund requests are subject to the refund policy applicable
to the service and platform used. Where available, a user may submit a request to Application
management, and refund requests will be considered in accordance with applicable terms and relevant
laws.

Prohibited Uses

Users must not:

  • Use the Application in violation of applicable laws.
  • Send false or misleading alerts.
  • Use the Application to harass or threaten others.
  • Attempt to hack the Application or its systems.
  • Attempt to access other users’ data without authorization.
  • Copy or redistribute the Application without permission.
  • Reverse engineer the software to the extent prohibited by law.
  • Use the Application for fraudulent or harmful purposes.
  • Use the Application in a manner that affects the safety or security of other users.
  • Use the Application to provide medical or emergency services in the name of Revive Me without the

Intellectual Property

All rights relating to the Application, including, as applicable, the Revive Me trade name, logos, designs,
interfaces, software, code, databases, text, content, visual elements, and any developments or original
works associated with the Application, are owned by or licensed to the Establishment. Use of the
Application does not grant the user any ownership right or permanent license in those elements. No
element of the Application may be copied, modified, reproduced, distributed, sold, or otherwise exploited
without the prior written consent of the rights holder, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

User-Provided Content

If the Application allows a user to create, send, or share content, the user remains responsible for the
content they provide and its legality. The user undertakes not to submit content that violates applicable
laws or third-party rights. The Establishment may take appropriate action regarding unlawful content in
accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.

Privacy and Data Protection

Processing of personal data is governed by the Revive Me Privacy Policy. The user acknowledges having
reviewed the Privacy Policy and understood the nature of the data that may be processed, the purposes
for which it may be used, and the user’s related rights. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these
Terms with respect to personal-data processing.

Account Suspension or Termination

Subject to applicable laws and these Terms, the Establishment may suspend or terminate an account or
restrict access to certain features where these Terms are violated, the Application is misused, the account
is used fraudulently or harmfully, a threat exists to the security of the Application or its users, or a legal
obligation requires such action. Account suspension does not affect obligations that arose before
suspension.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Establishment will not be liable for damage resulting from:

  • Failure of an alert to be delivered.
  • Delay in delivery of an alert.
  • Inaccuracy of data from an external device.
  • Incompatibility of a smartwatch or device.
  • Internet or telecommunications outages.
  • Failures of the user’s devices.
  • Disabled permissions or notifications.
  • Misuse of the Application.
  • Failure by the user to configure the Application correctly.
  • Reliance on the Application as a medical device or emergency service.
  • Failures or interruptions of third-party services.
  • Any cause beyond the Establishment’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under
applicable laws.

Indemnity

Subject to applicable laws, the user is responsible for damages or claims arising from unlawful use of the
Application, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Third-Party Services

The Application may integrate with services provided by third parties, including Apple, Google,
manufacturers of smart devices and smartwatches, and technical service providers. The Establishment is
not responsible for any change, interruption, or failure in an external service over which it has no control.

Updates and Modifications

The Establishment may update the Application or modify, add, or remove certain features, including
compatible-device, alert, or subscription features. These Terms may also be updated from time to time,
and the updated version will be published through the Application or another appropriate channel.

Force Majeure

The Establishment will not be liable for delay or inability to provide the service due to events beyond its
reasonable control, including disasters, widespread failures, telecommunications or internet outages,
cyberattacks, government decisions, natural disasters, wars, epidemics, and similar events.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or implementation of these Terms will be handled in
accordance with applicable legal procedures before the competent judicial authority in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia, unless an agreement or applicable legal provision provides otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or contrary to applicable law, this will not
affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The relevant provision will, where possible,
be interpreted to the extent necessary to make it compliant with applicable law.
